Although St John and Dolly Smiths' pickles are not South African, we stock them because their styles and flavours are similar to handmade pickles that can be found in Indian and Malay households in across South Africa.

They are also all fabulously tasty and have won a number of awards at The National Chilli Awards and the Great Taste competition as well.

All of St John and Dolly Smiths' pickles are prepared and cooked by hand using the best quality ingredients.

They are free from artificial preservatives, flavouring and colouring, and do not require refrigeration once opened as they are naturally preserved and have an extremely long shelf life.
