About Us OUR PHILOSOPHY:
Since 1993 our philosophy has always been to offer a nichéd, unique range of South African estate wines from over 100 of South Africa's finest estates and co-operatives across most of the winemaking regions. Our current selection reflects both traditional elements of the South African wine industry and the fresh new wave of changes and trends that have occurred since the end of Apartheid.
We are unrivalled in our selection, and prefer to stock estates that are not found on supermarket or high street off licence shelves.
We also retail wines from a number of estates offering wines across all styles that are unique to our shop.
We only stock wines that we have personally tasted and selected.
We offer our customers the opportunity to taste a selection of our wines every Saturday, and hold three formal tastings each year.
We enjoy matching wine with food, and will always offer helpful advice and personal service whenever requested.
We publish 3 lists across the year: "Spring (February - May); "Summer" (June - September) and "Christmas" (October - January). There is a subtle seasonal emphasis on each list.
Don't know much about South African wine? Try us - we will tailor make a list of wine off our list to suit your palate.
GIFT & MAIL ORDER SERVICES:
We offer free local delivery and a dependable next day UK mail order service, allowing you to choose from a large selection of Southern African grocery items. We offer a gift service for you to select wine or groceries to send to friends and family, delivered to you or the gift recipient. Personalised messages can also be enclosed.
CORPORATE GIFTS:
We also offer a corporate gift service, if you are looking for something different for your staff, customers or clients at Christmas, then please enquire about our Corporate Gift Service.
We can supply gift cases of wine, or, hampers of wine and food items taylored to your needs, specifications and budget.
