DELUXE CASE

Klein Constantia Sauvignon Blanc

A delicate combination of elegant tropical fruit with a savoury minerality showcasing the Klein Constantia terroir, a common thread in our Sauvignon blancs.  A fresh and expressive acidity with a full and lively palate.

Pair with: Oysters and warm citrus fish salads. Drink now or leave to develop until 2019.

Cederberg Chenin Blanc

Beautiful layers of melon, grapefruit and fleshy white pear. Five months lees contact ensured a mouth coating creaminess on the palate with a lively crisp acidity to finish off. Altitude vineyards make this Chenin Blanc truly unique.

Pairs with: Creamy dishes as well as light summer lunches.

Sijnn White

Chenin/Viognier/Rousanne

Delicate yet flavoursome floral, spicy ensemble & gentle creamy mouthfeel, refreshing mineral thread.

Pairs with: Excellent with a wide range of food from fish, seafood, creamy poultry or as an aperitif.

Hofs Merlot

This is a structured and beautifully balanced Merlot, showing a lively bouquet of plums and hints of mint on the nose. Matured in French oak for 12 months, the palate offers pure Merlot fruit with well matured tannins.

Pairs with: pâtés or other charcuterie, pork or veal roasts, rich, cheesy gratins and even hamburgers.

Mellasat Tempranillo

This is a little known variety to South African vineyards but one that is fast enjoying an enhanced reputation in the Paarl region. Savoury in character, this wine was matured in French oak barriques for 18 months, with the nose giving a cigar box aroma leading to marinated cherry and autumn blackberry on the palate.It is expected this wine will continue to develop for several years to come.

CLASSIC CASE

Avondale Chenin Blanc

Lime, grapefruit, pineapple, quince, with just a dash of honey on the nose. The palate is dense with ripe flavours and juicy with tangy peach and brie flavours, delivered with good intensity and freshness. These mouthwatering flavours linger quite long on the palate.

Pairs well with fish, sushi, goats cheese and smoked salmon dishes.

Buitenverwachting Sauvignon Blanc

The wine has a pale lemon yellow colour and a bouquet reminiscent of green figs with hints of gooseberries and an intrusion of green peppers. The wine is dry, full bodied and has a long lingering finish.

Pairs with: Fish, shellfish, chicken, pork or other white meats.

Rickety Bridge Foundation Stone

All 5 varietals contribute to this complete and well balanced wine. Elegant with spring blossoms, restrained peach, mango and stone fruit on the nose. Subtle hints of oak spice and a refined fruit expression. A rich and well-structured wine that finishes with elegance and freshness on the palate.

Pair with delicious served alone, or alongside creamy pasta dishes, goats cheese tartlets or asparagus wrapped in Prosciutto.

Clos Malverne Merlot

Elegant with long mouth feel.  Red fruit on the nose with hints of smoke and spice.  Very smooth.

Pair with delicious roast lamb

Lyngrove Shiraz

Ruby in colour. Dark berries and white pepper on the nose with hints of vanilla. The fruit flavours follow through on the palate and are complimented by supple tannins.

Pairs with: BBQ and Grilled Meats, Venison, Roasted red meats, hard cheese.

Horse Mountain Michele

A fruit driven blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot and 3% Cabernet Franc. With the focus on plums and raspberry there are also hints of dark/mint chocolate. This wine has an elegant structure making it approachable and ready to drink. 

Pair with your barbeque meats.
