The 2008 Naudé blend consists of 6 components. Nose - peach, pineapple,and lime. Palate – full bodied ripe fruit which is well integrated with the wood.The fruit components, like peach (Chenin Blanc) and pineapple (Semillon), are the building blocks of the wine, and ends in a refreshing lime/citrus (Sauvignon Blanc) finish. Wood: Part of the Chenin Blanc and Semillon was fermented in new French oak barrels for 3 weeks.

The nose is a complex, both earthy and bright, showing lemon peel, ripe stone fruits and ripe apple. The palate is taught and slightly saline, with very good concentration and depth. The wine has a fine form, without excess bulk. Finish is very long, with a noticeable interplay of saline/sweet/tart...
White Blend Sauvignon Blanc/Chardonnay (unwooded) made by the Hamilton Russell family. Bottle age adds complexity and harmony. Chardonnay is fermented in clay amphoras. Food friendly, textured, mineral vitality and savoury length.
This blend provides some mid palate intensity, with orange blossoms to the nose.The greatest feature of the wine is the freshness on the palate, its good length and balance, with the pure tropical taste. It is fermented to dryness, but has intense fruit flavour of melon, litchi and granadilla.
