This rose is made from all four red grape varietals grown on the farm (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz and Cabernet Franc). The grapes are crushed, destalked and berry sorted by hand with the resulting juice left on the skins for just the right amount of time in order to achieve the salmon pink colour. The palate reflects the flavours of strawberries and dark cherries which follow through from the nose. Acidity and fruit is well balanced, leading to a fresh, lively, crisp and dry finish on the palate. The palate has depth and weight, which allows it to be either enjoyed on its own or to be paired with food.
