This elegant single malt was distilled in 2008 by Master Distiller, Andy Watts, and matured for 10 years in a combination of older and younger American Oak barrels to complement the delicate flavours of the spirit. Un-chillfiltered, natural colour and bottled at a strength of 46.3%, the whisky is presented in its most natural form.
TASTING NOTES:
Colour: Naturally pale gold
Nose: Hints of raisins, Christmas fruit cake, shortbread, burnt caramel, white pepper and alluring smoke.
Palate: Spicy nuttiness, medium peat and tropical fruit.
Finish: A long and lingering finish of spicy nuttiness leads to an inviting rum and raisin ending.
Alcohol content: 46.3% ABV
