Intense, concentrated, red centre turning into a ruby, red edge. Strong explosion of blackcurrent, mulberry, plums and chocolate flavours, backed by hints of vanilla and cigar box. Strong, black pepper and spice also present in the bouquet. Full bodied with a firm, ripe tannin structure backed by well-balanced acidity. Mid palate is full of dark fruit with a long and lingering finish.
